Five Star Building Services is getting ready for winter!

We need casual

On-Call Snow Plow and ATV Drivers

to join our Snow Removal Team

.

In this role, you will be responsible for making sure pathways are cleared, along with supporting de-icing operations to ensure properties are cleared in an efficient and safe manner. This is an

on-call

position and chosen candidates will only be dispatched when required (depending on the weather conditions) we often start clearing by 3:30 am.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Must be physically fit and able to work outside in winter conditions 1 - 2 years previous snow plowing experience is preferred Able to operate a snowplow and/or ATV. Available to workday and night shifts, weekends and holidays when needed. Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner. Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors. Ability to work in physically demanding conditions. Able to lift and safely carry up to 50lbs. Have a valid BC Class 5 or Class 7 Driver's License. Have access to a vehicle is preferred. Must have appropriate cold weather protective clothing.
