Reporting to the Snow Foreman, The Sidewalk Plow Operator is responsible for plowing a variety of areas and will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Essential Responsibilities
Operate a sidewalk snow plow and other winter maintenance equipment
Clear snow and apply salt/sand to sidewalks and walkways
Perform pre- and post-shift inspections of equipment Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by weather conditions Ability to work with a team
Qualifications:
Previous experience operating snow removal equipment considered an asset
Valid driver's license is required
Ability to work long and irregular hours during storms
Physically fit and able to work in cold outdoor environments
Strong attention to safety and detail
