Job Summary
We are seeking 2 dedicated and skilled snowcat operators and 6 laborers for snow maintenance services in the Fort Mac area of Alberta. This is a remote job with supplied accommodation. Start date will be at freeze up in November. 12 hour days X 2 shifts per day. If you have experience doing snow services on a pipeline, please send us your resume.
Duties
Snow cat operators must have experience. Laborers must be able to work in a cold environment for multiple hours per day Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction and maintenance tasks. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and minor repairs. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
Qualifications
Experience required for Operators and preferred for laborers. A positive "get er done" attitude is required for all. Supervisors will mentor the inexperienced laborers. All personnel will be subject to pre-access Drug and Alcohol screening. Oilfield certifications helpful but will train the right individuals.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 84 per week
