We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently clearing snow from roads, parking lots, and other designated areas to ensure safe access during winter weather conditions. This role requires a strong understanding of snow plowing techniques, as well as mechanical knowledge and experience in landscape maintenance.
Responsibilities
Operate snow plow equipment to clear snow from various surfaces including roads, driveways, and parking lots.
Perform routine maintenance on snow plowing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Utilize hand tools and power tools for snow removal and related tasks.
Assist with landscaping duties during off-season, including lawn care, tree trimming, mowing, and hardscape maintenance.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts effectively.
Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to changing circumstances.
Qualifications
Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators and snow plows.
Familiarity with landscaping practices including horticulture, gardening, irrigation, and tree care.
Experience in construction or landscape maintenance is preferred.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
