Job Purpose

To provide end to end support to the Area Logistics Manager for all Logistics (warehousing and transport) functions at the site level. Allowing for maximum operational flexibility according to customer service, quality, Health and Safety and cost targets for the responsible site.

Total Compensation

  • $70,000 to $80,000 annually
  • Annual Performance Bonus
  • 3 Weeks Vacation + 5 Personal/Sick days

Key Accountabilities
  • Individual & Team Development: Coach, mentor, guide, motivate and develop people as individuals in order to develop a dynamic and high performing team.
  • Order Management: Oversee the order cycle from start to finish including order receipt, entry and confirmation maximizing on-time and in-full delivery.
  • Customer & Sales Relationship Management: Maintain regular communications with customers and sales team to understand their business needs and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Inventory Management: Develop a complete understanding of the North American Inventory Management Protocol. Work with Supply Planning to maintain appropriate levels of inventory based on customer demand.
  • Coordination of Internal Resources: Working with supervisor on managing daily improvements, escalations & problem solving; coordinating all pertinent resources to ensure on-time order fulfillment.
  • Health, Safety & Sustainability: Following our Code of Conduct and Core Values, ensure site is compliant in all Health and Safety rules and regulations
Qualifications
  • Two years of related customer service or logistics management experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and an ability to adapt quickly to various web-based software.
  • Experience with SAP and various ERP systems is an asset.
  • Related business diploma or degree (preferred - all may apply)
  • Ability to identify priorities. Strong time management skills in a fast environment is a must.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a strong team culture with strong individual contributors
