Job Description
Looking for a highly organized individual to join our team as a CSO, or OFA 2 or OFA 3. Monitor safety compliance of workers and subcontractors on construction sites. Must Have:
- Certified Construction Safety Office ( CSO) Ticket
- Occupation First Aid Level ll ( OFA2) Ticket
- Solid knowledge of WorkSafe BC regulations, policies, guidelines, and standards.
- Conduct site-specific health and safety orientations for new site workers and
- Facilitate and participate in site inspections, and implement corrective action as needed.
- Proactively identify hazards and implement corrective measures.
- Prepare site safety plans, conduct hazard assessments, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
- Ensure all accidents, incidents, and injuries are properly reported to the relevant parties.
- Review sub-contractor documentation for accuracy and provide feedback to personnel.
- Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks.
- Administer first-aid when necessary.
- Assist with labor duties and site maintenance.
