Job Summary
The Site Clinical Manager is the on-site manager responsible and accountable for the overall direction and coordination of clinical and human resource activities within the hospital during evenings, nights, statutory holidays, and weekends. In this position, you will manage patient flow, monitoring appropriateness of admission and patient placement and coordinate human resource activities to ensure the appropriate resources are available to meet patient care requirements. This is a multi-site position between the Health Sciences Centre, Janeway (Children and Women\'s Health Program), and St. Clare\'s. This manager is the only on-site manager in the building after hours and attends to site and building issues and coordinates/notifies appropriate response accordingly (for example, Health Emergency Management Codes etc.)

Job Qualifications
Education
A baccalaureate degree in a health-related discipline is required. A master\'s degree is preferred.

Experience
A Minimum of five years recent acute care clinical experience required. Recent management experience an asset.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
You demonstrate knowledge of quality improvement principles, human resource management, utilization management principles and discharge planning as well as the ability to determine the clinical needs of patients.

Current registration with a professional association is required.
A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
