We are devoted to making \xe2\x80\x9cSafety\xe2\x80\xa6 Our Way of Life\xe2\x80\x9d.Summary:Under the direction of the Site Admin Supervisor, the Site Administrator will ensure that all work is being recorded and reported in a timely fashion, and that records of such are kept in an organized and easily traceable manner. They will be responsible for processing day-to-day updates & transactions to support the broader payroll and billing, ensure all hours are entered in payroll system for bi-weekly pay submissions for pay, prepare reports & reconciliations, and be a general knowledge resource and support other departments of the Fort McKay Group of Companies.Key Focuses:

  • Compiling, and entering data into billing and payroll system to create daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly invoicing as contractually required for multiple clients.
  • Review and process day to day payroll transactions including, but not limited to, time entry, schedule change review and support payroll close checklist.
  • Support payroll department to investigate and correct pay queries, adjust billing, and support time entry reconciliation in a timely manner.
  • Review and process day to day billing transactions in client system or excel as required.
  • Reconciling billing vs payroll to ensure we are not missing any billable hours and to ensure contractual compliance.
  • Tracking and reporting of non-billable hours by contract.
  • Third party billing, keeping track of all necessary items to be charged and third party invoices.
  • Responsible for document control and filing.
  • Working closely with several internal parties such as Dispatch, Administrators, Supervision, Cost Analyst and Management to complete tasks
  • Submit daily force reports (DFR) to client as required.
  • Provide support to site manager as assigned and required, and support of any general administrative activities within the Department.
  • Schedule/Book Camp and Flights if required.
  • Process New hire set up in the Customer portal.
  • Perform any related and/or additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • Grade 12 Diploma/ GED Required
  • College Diploma in Business or Office Administration would be considered an asset.
  • Experience in Microsoft office suite applications, Excel and Outlook is required.
  • Experience in SAP, Maximum, CDMS, Field Glass and/or Ceridian is considered an asset.
  • Good knowledge of payroll principles and practices.
  • Strong customer service skills with an ability to support internal and external clients.
  • Strong attention to detail with an exceptional level of accuracy.
  • Strong knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards.
  • Good analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including good oral, written communication, and listening skills.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask, as well as work effectively in a team environment.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a Site Administrator billing data entry, accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a unionized payroll environment is an asset.
  • Current valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license, Class five (5) or better with satisfactory 3 year drivers abstract is required.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
This is a full time position located at FMGOC office in Edmonton, AB.
Work schedule: Monday to Friday- 8 hrs/ day (8am - 4pm)What we offer:
