This position requires relocation to Banff, Alberta.


The transportation coordinator is part of an efficient and productive team helping manage the day-to-day operations of all aspects of Brewster transportation services and offering support and coaching to the Jasper based transportation team. What perks can you expect?:

What will you do in this job?:
  • Daily organization of passenger lists and pickup locations of Brewster Sightseeing and Brewster Express services.
  • Maintaining open communication and positive relationships with other teams through radio, phone and online communication
  • Organizing of taxi and van service to provide transportation for guests at various pickup locations.
  • Assist in various transportation positions including direct ticket sales, luggage loading, guest loading, and guest meet and greets.
  • Producing booking confirmations and follow up with clients including taking payments through a direct POS system.
  • Ability to read and understand a dispatch sheet with driver assignments and passenger manifests
  • Maintain scheduled services and inventory
  • The responsible handling of cash, credit cards, and cash out forms
  • Minimizing the impact of guest experience issues by anticipating guest needs
  • Resolve guest experience issues including appropriate relaying and follow-up as required
  • Maintain current and accurate knowledge of Pursuit attractions, events, and local knowledge
  • Abiding by and applying all procedures and policies as laid out
  • Represent Pursuit professionally in all communications relating to clients/guests, suppliers, products, and co-workers
  • Ensure guest safety
  • Ensuring work area remains clean, tidy, well stocked and communicating any needs

What skills and experience do you need for this job?:

  • Secondary language skills are an asset

  • Ability to effectively problem solve in a timely manner
  • Cash handling experience
  • Physical demands including constant use of hands, repetitive actions and speaking, sitting/standing for long periods of time, frequent bending/twisting, working outdoors, and may lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Public speaking experience an asset
  • Class 4 driver\xe2\x80\x99s licence an asset
