Job Summary: Last year we launched, Ask Marley Drug, at YouTube channel aimed at providing valuable clinical information on common medication. We are looking for a summer student to help us to create short-form video content using existing creatives for our YouTube and Social Media platforms. A successful candidate will work directly with our Medical Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Consultant to optimize, review, and edit our existing YouTube videos into shorter mobile friendly versions. They will also be responsible for adding captions, music, and other features to enhance the videos\' engagement and appeal to our audience. This is an excellent opportunity for a student who is interested in video production and editing to gain experience and add to their portfolio. Responsibilities:
Contract length: 4 months Pay: From $16.00 per hour Benefits:
- Review and edit existing YouTube videos into YouTube shorts and Instagram reels
- Work with our creative team to develop new ideas and concepts for future content
- Optimize YouTube shorts for engagement and appeal
- Add captions, music, and other features to enhance videos
- Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Communicate effectively with team members and provide regular progress updates
- Follow brand guidelines and maintain a consistent look and feel across all videos
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in video production, film studies, or a related field
- Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- Familiarity with YouTube shorts and social media trends
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
