As a Shop Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring our shop operations run smoothly, helping to prepare, organize, and coordinate materials and tools that support our field and office teams.
In this role, you'll bring your attention to detail and strong organizational skills to help manage inventory, maintain equipment readiness, and support day-to-day logistics. You'll have the opportunity to grow your skill set while contributing to a team that values precision, safety, and collaboration.

Some of your responsibilities may include:
Coordinating and staging tools, equipment, and materials for project sites
Ordering parts and equipment
Managing shipping and receiving, including inspection, packaging, and labeling
Using a barcoding system to track inventory and job-related materials
Loading and unloading materials onto trucks, trailers, or flatbeds
Delivering materials to field locations as needed
Operating forklifts, fleet trucks, and shop equipment
Performing or arranging preventative maintenance on tools and equipment
Maintaining a clean and organized shop environment
Local travel will be required
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of warehouse and shipping-related experience
A valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract
Forklift training, experience, and certification
Working knowledge of electrical equipment and materials used in electrical construction
Industrial experience and mechanical aptitude are strong assets
Physical fitness test and drug and alcohol test will be required
