Role: The primary role will be creating sheet metal ductwork using machines, tools and software. Prior experience is required \xc2\xb7 Spot weld using welding cooper table guns, calipers and stationary spot welders. \xc2\xb7 Operate basic machines for roll casting, notch, and scribe & cut shapes. \xc2\xb7 Feed a pre-set press as required. \xc2\xb7 Use basic hand tools to fabricate and assemble parts. \xc2\xb7 Follow safety, assembly and quality procedures. \xc2\xb7 Manually lift, turn, bend and push to position components for assembly and sub-assembly. \xc2\xb7 Must be driven with a desire to learn and be flexible \xc2\xb7 Some experience as an assembler within environmental manufacturing is preferred \xc2\xb7 Some experience reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings \xc2\xb7 Good communication and people skills and ability to interact well with others. \xc2\xb7 Team player with a positive attitude \xc2\xb7 heavy lifting (50lbs) \xc2\xb7 long hour standing for 7 \xe2\x80\x93 8 hours. \xc2\xb7 Previous experience including skills and ability to perform the work will be an asset. \xc2\xb7 Assessment of Skills & Ability may be required. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
