The SharePoint Analyst will be responsible for executing and managing content transfers across enterprise content management platforms, primarily SharePoint, as well as other ECM systems and shared drives. This role supports high-priority initiatives by migrating unstructured content, addressing legacy backlogs, and responding to time-sensitive requests.
The analyst will manage multiple concurrent transfers, requiring strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills to work effectively with various business areas. The role involves reviewing and adhering to organizational policies, business rules, and data requirements to ensure accurate and compliant content movement.
The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of IT infrastructure environments, content management systems, and change management practices, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities
Collaborate within a team environment to deliver content transfer and migration services effectively.
Work closely with delivery teams and stakeholders, including business partners and technical teams, to understand detailed transfer requirements such as timing, process validation, and coordination of script executions.
Participate in the creation, estimation, prioritization, and management of a backlog of work to ensure predictable and timely completion of content transfers.
Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation, user guides, and training materials to support all aspects of the content transfer service.
Provide guidance to business partners on technical considerations related to ECM platforms and shared drives for requested content transfers.
Create and maintain scripts, workflows, logging, and supporting documentation required to execute and monitor content transfers.
Perform content migrations, including mapping, transformation, loading, and testing of scripts or supporting applications.
Execute secure file transfers and validate file integrity to ensure accuracy and completeness of migrated content.
Support additional responsibilities as required to meet service delivery objectives.
Requirements
Mandatory Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, including file operations, permissions, and security concepts.
Hands-on experience with Windows command line, command-line scripting, and batch scripting.
Working experience with SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online, including:
SharePoint lists, document sets, and libraries
SharePoint security and permission structures
SharePoint content types and metadata management
Assets / Nice-to-Have Experience
Experience using Robocopy for large-scale or secure file transfers.
General understanding and practical exposure to OpenText Content Server.
PowerShell scripting experience for automation and migration tasks.
Hands-on experience with ShareGate for SharePoint migrations.
Experience migrating content between different versions of SharePoint.

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,777.53 per year
