We are thrilled to announce that we are hiring Sessional Instructors for our Bachelor of Hospitality Management for the upcoming term (Winter 2026).



TITLE: FOOD & BEVERAGE Courses- INSTRUCTOR (Sessional)



POSITION OVERVIEW: The ideal candidate will be capable of teaching any of the following courses in our Bachelor of Hospitality Management Degree Program:


HOSP130 - Food and Beverage Management:

Effective food and beverage service management requires analytical skills, interpersonal skills, operational expertise, and an ability to think creatively so that the result is always a positive bottom line.

HOSP329 - Cost Controls and Profitability in Food and Beverage Management:

This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of costs, profit, and managing it to run a successful operation. Students will be required to analyze the need for cost control in Food & Beverage operation and its impact on the profitability of the business.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Per Term

TERM: Winter 2026 - From January 2026 to April 2026 (15 weeks)

LOCATION: Surrey, BC: The candidate must be able to commute to our Surrey Central Campus (CC3).

SCHEDULE: According to the courses/per Term.

SALARY: $6,000 to $6,500 per course, per term.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR SESSIONAL INSTRUCTOR:


Minimum of a master's degree in the teaching subject area or related field. 2 years of Industry experience and teaching the same or similar courses at another BC post-secondary institution.

REQUIRED SKILLS:


Excellent Communication Skills Able to prepare detailed lesson plans Able to use technology and online teaching techniques Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent instructional capability Able to maintain professionalism Strong Proficiency in English
