Situee a Kuujjuaq, au coeur du Nunavik, l'Auberge Kuujjuaq Inn est un complexe hotelier complet comprenant un hotel, un restaurant, un lounge et un depanneur.
Nous traversons actuellement une phase majeure de restructuration et de modernisation.
Notre objectif est de rebatir des bases solides, d'ameliorer les standards de service et d'instaurer une culture d'equipe durable.
Nous recherchons un(e) gestionnaire experimente(e) capable d'accompagner ce changement complet, de stabiliser les equipes et de preparer la transition vers la nouvelle direction Food & Beverage.
Vos responsabilites principales
Superviser et optimiser les operations quotidiennes du restaurant et du lounge : service, qualite, inventaires et conformite.
Encadrer et soutenir les superviseurs de salle et de bar pour garantir la coherence du service.
Assurer la liaison entre la cuisine, le service et la direction generale.
Gerer les commandes, la reception des produits et les inventaires d'alcool et de consommables.
Maintenir une rigueur administrative (suivi des ventes, couts, pertes, rapports internes et tableaux de bord).
Participer a la construction et au suivi des indicateurs cles (KPI), du beverage cost et du labour cost (LC).
Contribuer a la mise en place de nouveaux processus, politiques internes et standards MAPAQ.
Participer au recrutement, a la formation et a la mobilisation du personnel.
Soutenir la direction dans les taches administratives et financieres liees au departement.
Evolution du role
Ce poste s'inscrit dans une transition planifiee du departement Food & Beverage.
La personne retenue travaillera d'abord en appui direct a la direction pour assurer la stabilite et le renforcement des operations.
A compter du mois de mars 2026, elle assumera la pleine direction du Food & Beverage, incluant la gestion des equipes, la supervision administrative et la coordination globale des activites F&B.
Profil recherche
Minimum 3 ans d'experience en gestion de restaurant, bar ou hotellerie.
Experience significative dans un contexte de redressement, de changement ou de turnover eleve.
Solides competences analytiques : maitrise des inventaires (a construire), beverage cost, labour cost (LC) et indicateurs de performance (KPI).
Leadership mobilisateur et sens aigu de l'organisation.
Capacite a planifier, structurer et executer sous pression.
Rigueur administrative, autonomie et integrite.
Bilinguisme francais-anglais obligatoire.
Adaptabilite aux realites nordiques et multiculturelles.
Formation / Parcours
Formation postsecondaire en gestion hoteliere, restauration ou equivalent, ou experience professionnelle equivalente demontree.

Located in Kuujjuaq, the main hub of Nunavik, the Kuujjuaq Inn is a full-service hospitality complex including a hotel, restaurant, lounge, and convenience store.
We are currently undergoing a major operational transformation and restructuring.
Our mission is to rebuild strong foundations, enhance service standards, and establish a long-term, motivated team culture.
We're looking for a reliable, experienced manager to support this complete change process, stabilize operations, and prepare for the upcoming transition toward full Food & Beverage leadership.
Main responsibilities
Supervise and optimize daily restaurant and lounge operations (service, quality, inventory, compliance).
Lead and support floor and bar supervisors to ensure consistent guest experience.
Coordinate operations between kitchen, service, and management.
Manage product ordering, receiving, and alcohol/consumable inventories.
Maintain administrative discipline (sales tracking, costs, losses, internal reports, and dashboards).
Contribute to the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPI), beverage cost, and labour cost (LC).
Help implement new procedures, internal policies, and MAPAQ hygiene standards.
Participate in recruitment, training, and staff development.
Support management in administrative and financial F&B follow-ups.
Role evolution
This position is part of a planned transition within the Food & Beverage department.
The selected candidate will initially assist management to ensure operational and administrative stability.
Starting in March 2026, they will progressively assume full responsibility for Food & Beverage operations, including team management, administration, and coordination across departments.
Profile sought
Minimum 3 years of experience in restaurant, bar, or hospitality management.
Proven experience in organizational change, turnaround, or high-turnover environments.
Strong analytical and financial skills: inventory management (to build), beverage cost, labour cost (LC), and KPI tracking.
Leadership, organizational skills, and hands-on management style.
Administrative rigor and integrity.
Bilingual (French and English) required.
Adaptability to a northern and multicultural environment.
Education / Background
Post-secondary education in hospitality or restaurant management, or equivalent professional experience.
