We're looking for a confident, technically skilled Manager, Accounting Services to join our team in a remote capacity, supporting clients and team members connected to our Lethbridge, AB office. In this role, you'll act as a trusted advisor--leading engagements, guiding your team, and helping clients achieve their financial goals. What You Will Do
Client Service & Growth
Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their unique needs and delivering forward-thinking solutions.
Support business development by identifying opportunities for growth with existing and potential clients.
Engagement & Tax Management
Oversee the timely and accurate delivery of accounting and tax services in alignment with firm standards.
Review and prepare personal, trust, and corporate tax returns, ensuring full compliance with CRA requirements.
Team Leadership
Mentor and support junior team members, encouraging continuous learning and professional development.
Review work to ensure technical accuracy, quality, and adherence to firm policies.
Process & Innovation
Identify and implement improvements in workflow and service delivery to enhance efficiency and client value.
Stay informed on evolving industry practices and regulatory changes to provide proactive advice.
What We're Looking For
A CPA designation in good standing.
5+ years in public practice, including tax, file review, and client-facing experience.
Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and lead other team members in a remote or hybrid work environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
A dedicated home office with minimal distractions and the ability to store confidential information securely.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while staying connected to a collaborative team.
