A locally operated industrial crane and lifting equipment supplier is looking for a Service Manager to grow their Manitoba service team through leadership and management of technicians, onboarding new clients, and servicing our existing customer base.As a Service Manager, you will learn about a wide variety of industries and manufacturers, and what drives their success. We are a big part of making their operations safe and productive! You will communicate directly with clients to establish and meet their inspection, service, and parts needs. You will be responsible for meeting revenue targets and leading and managing your team, which will be made up of Service Technicians, Customer Service Reps, and Technical Support.Permanent Position
Schedule: Monday to Friday business hours
Salary: $70k - $100k per year (based on experience and certification)Advantages

As a Service Manager, a normal day would include:
- Lead & Manage MB Service department operations
- Accountable for service revenue target
- Customer acquisition
- Attend service calls for a limited period to gain industry and product knowledge if required
- Inspection quote preparation and presentation
- Schedule and assign work to service technicians
- Ensure efficient and effective workflow within the service department
- Monitor and evaluate technician performance
- Provide support to technicians as needed
- Ensure the department maintains accurate records of service and repair orders
- Handle customer inquiries, challenges, and escalations in a professional manner
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfactionQualifications

- Previous industrial maintenance leadership experience is a strong asset
- Trades experience as a millwright or electrician is preferred
- Proven ability to focus and produce results in fast-paced environments
