As a service coordinator you are responsible for all incoming calls for booking service appointments. You will be required to make outbound calls to book appointments. Must be able to text and email in order to book service appointments.

This is a telephone-based job, you would need to have excellent phone etiquette and personality on the telephone. Must have the highest customer standards in the industry, and want to make every customer a loyal customer of the dealership.

Sherwood Honda in Sherwood Park, Alberta is looking for a full-time Service Coordinator, great work environment, newer shop and positive surroundings. You would be working in a business center in the service area, indoors at all times. The dealership has lots to offer for the right applicant going forward as this is a very busy work environment. Lots of work for any candidate that enjoys working in a fast-paced shop. You are must enjoy talking on the phone and dealing with customers. A mechanical background or experience would be an asset, but it is not mandatory. Training is available for the right applicant. Applicants need a good attitude and a good work ethic. Job Summary:

The Service Coordinator is responsible for booking all vehicle repair and maintenance appointments as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards of Honda

Job Responsibilities:

o Coordinate and book work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with the Honda dealership and factory standards

o Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts, inform team leader if vehicle is awaiting parts and pursue special order of parts if necessary

o Coordinate and book the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required

o Notify service consultants immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised

o Document and detail work that is to be performed on each vehicle using the customers' concerns.

o Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins

o Attend factory-sponsored training classes

o Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company's vision, mission and values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers

o Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
