Salary:
$21.00/hour

This is a union position and all rates of pay and benefits are outlined in the Collective Agreement.*
Service Advisor Specific Skills:
Work with customers to determine concerns with a vehicle and provide technicians with accurate repair descriptions
Verify and write accurate repair orders and complete by reviewing all copies, including supporting documentation
Maximize departmental performance by selling labor, parts, and accessories in line with market potential.
Collaborate with other departments for optimal efficiency and growth.
Build and maintain knowledge of Audi St. John's products and services through team training and education programs.
Confirm warranty and service contract coverage by examining customer records, explaining provisions and exclusions.
Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor, calculating customer's payment, including deductibles if applicable.
Refer to service history, inspect vehicle, and recommend additional service needs to customers.
Obtain customer authorization for repairs, ensuring to address main concerns prior to up-selling repairs recommended by the technician.
Assist with coordination of alternate transportation for customer such as shuttle service, limited loaner program or rental vehicles.
Provide consistent updates to clients about the status of their vehicles.
Receive payment for the work completed, handle the cash or credit transaction, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Perform a consultative vehicle delivery with the client when work is completed.

Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License with clear driver's abstract.
Clear criminal record check.
High school diploma or equivalent (post secondary preferred but not required).
A minimum of 2 years' experience in customer service preferred.
Experience in an automotive service environment preferred.
Previous Service Consultant, or automotive experience an asset.
A strong understanding of automotive technology and the automotive industry.
Steel-toed safety boots required.
