We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met while facilitating effective communication between customers and the service department.

Duties

Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their service needs and concerns. Provide detailed explanations of repair services and maintenance options, utilizing your mechanical knowledge to enhance customer understanding. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service recommendations, and sales transactions, ensuring all cash handling procedures are followed. Upsell additional services or products based on customer needs and vehicle condition, contributing to overall sales goals. Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while keeping customers informed about the status of their vehicles. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a courteous manner, fostering positive relationships with clients. Stay updated on automotive repair trends and dealership processes to provide informed recommendations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a dealership environment is preferred but not mandatory. A background in mechanics or automotive repair is highly desirable, providing an understanding of technical aspects related to vehicle maintenance. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Sales experience is an advantage, particularly in upselling services or products related to automotive care. Proficient in cash handling procedures and maintaining accurate financial records. A passion for the automotive industry and a willingness to learn about new technologies and services.
