Available Position: Service Advisor

MacKay's Truck & Trailer Center is growing, and we are currently seeking a permanent full-time Service Advisor to join our team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

MacKay's is a well-established family-owned business with over 40 years experience operating full-line Truck, Trailer & Compact Equipment dealerships, with locations in Truro & Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, as well as Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and Moncton, New Brunswick. This position requires an individual who appreciates the high expectations of our customers and will strive to meet and exceed those standards daily. The ability to foster relationships with our existing customers and build rapport with new prospects will be paramount to your success. As a Service Advisor you will work collaboratively with the Service Department to balance customer needs and company demands in a deadline driven environment. You will be entrusted to develop and achieve profitable service volume and deliver quality service to our customers.

Must have a valid class 5 driver's license.

Skills:

• Accountability to develop strong product and service knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively and constructively with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Able to learn new skills, computer experience is an asset.

Experience in the trucking industry is preferred; ideally within a Service Department.
