Job Summary


Northstar Bicycle Co is looking for a self motivated Service Advisor to lead our service team and drive business growth. This position is intended for seasonal availabilty (February to October) but will consider year around for the right person. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in account management, outside sales, and business development, with a keen understanding of market trends and customer needs. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and fostering a high-performance sales culture.

Duties



Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals and objectives. Lead, mentor, and motivate the service team to enhance performance and exceed targets. Analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth. Manage key accounts by building strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales initiatives with promotional campaigns. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Monitor sales metrics and prepare reports for upper management regarding team performance and market conditions. Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging technologies relevant to our products.

Experience



Minimum one year in a retail environment or a similar role within the customer service industry. Minimum one year experience in a bike shop or bike related distribution center. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team. Demonstrated success in account management, outside sales, and business development. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long-term client relationships. Proficiency in Ascend RMS and Microsoft Office is preferred but not required.
