Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Ensure food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are consistently met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery. Address guest inquiries courteously, resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Maintain a clean dining area, adhering to sanitation protocols and proper food handling procedures. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently.

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient order processing. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and upselling opportunities. Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and food handling procedures. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with food industry operations, serving techniques, and hospitality principles is advantageous.
