The Greek Kouzina Express is seeking enthusiastic and guest focused Server and Kitchen Hands to join our growing team.

At The Greek Kouzina Express, hospitality is at the heart of everything we do. Our open show kitchen brings the energy of Greek street food to life, and we are looking for team members who take pride in creating welcoming, memorable experiences for every guest who walks through our doors.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast paced environment, love food, and thrive in a hands on, team driven setting. You will work closely with both guests and the kitchen team, supporting dine in service, take out, mobile food vending, and catering operations.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine Greek hospitality

Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Clover POS system.

Engage with guests by making menu recommendations and practicing thoughtful suggestive selling

Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation and quality standards

Handle cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly

Uphold food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times

Assist with bussing tables, cleaning service areas, and maintaining an inviting dining space

Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation during service when needed

Manage multiple tasks efficiently during peak periods while maintaining a positive attitude

Address guest questions or concerns respectfully and professionally

Experience and Qualifications

Previous experience in food service is preferred, including quick service or full service restaurants

Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover, Aloha, or Micros is an asset
Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices

Experience with cashiering, upselling, and customer engagement is beneficial

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast paced environment
Background in culinary, cafe, retail, or grocery settings is an asset but not required

Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor are essential

Valid Food Safe and Serving It Right certifications are required
