Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Kitchen Assistant to join our events staffing team. We specialize in private events so candidates will need to arrange their own transportation to get across the GTA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. This role involves supporting the kitchen staff in various tasks, including serving and cleaning.

Duties

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces. Running food from kitchen to tables Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. Provide excellent customer service by assisting with serving food and beverages to guests. Collaborate with team members to create a harmonious work environment.

Requirements

Strong English language skills. Must consent to be used in social media posts for advertising/marketing purposes. Previous restaurant experience or background in the food industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices. Experience in serving or barista roles is a plus. Smart Serve Certification required. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Must be legally allowed to work in Canada.
