Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing food orders and cash transactions. You will play a crucial part in ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately. Process transactions using the POS system, handling cash and credit card payments. Ensure that all food items are prepared according to safety and sanitation standards. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, kitchen, and restroom facilities. Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed. Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items to enhance customer satisfaction. Monitor tables for customer needs, refilling drinks, and clearing plates as necessary. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of meals.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation regulations. Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the kitchen and service areas.
