Calabogie Peaks

is a four-season country resort located on the shores of Calabogie Lake at the base of Dickson Mountain, 50 minutes from Ottawa.

This boutique Hotel is part of the Ascend Collection by Choice, including 25 recently renovated rooms, all of them with specific characteristics, 30 one to three-bedroom condo suites all at the base of the tallest ski resort in Ottawa Valley.

Cant Hooks restaurant offers a curated menu, to enjoy breakfast, lunch and Dinner along with a warm lobby bar. Our Beach bar (opened during Summer) offer snacks and drinks, as well as rental of aquatic equipment,

is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive

Server / Bartender



The ideal candidate will possess a passion for Service, Kitchen, mixology and customer service, with the ability to create memorable experiences for our guests. As a Server / Bartender, you will be responsible for taking orders, having full knowledge of menus, ingredients, preparations and allergies management, preparing and serving beverages while ensuring compliance with food safety and handling regulations.

Responsibilities



Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations. Operate the Micros POS system for order entry, payment processing, and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and storage practices. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drink orders. Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service.

Requirements



Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems, is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and financial transactions. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
