Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our brewery taproom staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beer and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Server you would need to be experienced in pub or night club settings. Organized, friendly and self starting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, taproom, beer gardens area and washrooms. Including proper table maintenance, regularly washing glassware, proper use of our equipment. Engage with customers, providing friendly and attentive service while taking drink orders. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering as needed. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines, including current ProServe accreditation. Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and product knowledge.

Skills

Proficient in bartending and serving techniques with a solid understanding of beer and preparation methods. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for guests. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations within the restaurant industry. Excellent math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs accurately. Experience with cash handling procedures in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing. A background in hospitality or the food industry is preferred but not required.
