Overview

We are seeking a skilled Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food and beverage industry, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and a passion for hospitality.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations. Operate the POS system for processing orders and handling cash transactions efficiently. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring a high level of satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service between the bar and dining areas. Adhere to all food handling guidelines to maintain safety standards within the establishment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Proficient in basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Experience with cash handling procedures and familiarity with POS systems Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours. A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience.
This is a seasonal position. The restaurant closes in November but successful candidates are always rehired when we open again in April. Benefits are available

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $15.70 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 45 per week
