Job Description

We are currently seeking a Server Automation Consultant for a contract role with one of our clients in Toronto, ON. Please apply you would be interested and available for it.

Duration: 06+ Months

• Experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience
• Supports Client Server Automation activities as part of the HPSA Level 3 Support Team
• Provides path to resolution on incidents escalated from Level 1 & 2 technicians to the content team
• Liaison with the Global HPSA Support team in handling and escalation of incident tickets.
• May assist and provide support to the Client Server Automation Engineering team
• Provides technical support and input on the application of technology to a defined business segment
• Provides advice on solution and integration opportunities to defined segments
• Understands a broad spectrum of Client technology in order to provide part or all of a detailed technical design which meets customer requirements
• Solves diverse and complex problems
• Requires broad knowledge and significant experience with UNIX based (Linux, Solaris, Client) operating systems
• Strong complex project and solution lead experience dealing with customers
• Possesses advanced level of business, technical, or functional knowledge
• Demonstrates the use of consulting skills including: questioning, listening, ideas development, permission and rapport, and influencing
• Has ability to perform/drive resolution of problems on combinations and interactions of products
• Ability to apply technology and consulting to solve a client business problem
• Ability to translate technical details into concise and easy to understand written form
• Able to advise the engagement owner about the risks associated with this work package
• Ability to work with a team to provide written responses to technical proposals and /or reports/documentation for delivery
• Demonstrated ability to work with large worldwide virtual cross-functional teams
