Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated an experienced Server Assistant- Barista to join our dynamic bar team. This dual-role position is essential to the seamless operation of our dining experience.. Additionally, you will support the front-of-house team with various service-related tasks, ensuring a polished and refined dining atmosphere.

Barista Duties:

Craft and serve an exceptional range of coffee and tea beverages, maintaining a consistent standard of quality. Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked coffee station at all times. Stay knowledgeable about the restaurant's coffee and tea offerings, including sourcing, roasting profiles, and preparation techniques, to engage with guests meaningfully. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while handling food and beverages.

Bread Service Duties:

Prepare and present an impeccable bread service to guests, ensuring attention to detail in timing, portioning, and presentation. Collaborate with the kitchen and service team to maintain consistent quality and freshness of bread offerings. Communicate knowledgeably about the selection of breads and accompaniments.

Service Support:

Assist with table maintenance, including polishing cutlery and glassware, resetting tables, and cleaning service areas. Work alongside servers to anticipate guest needs, ensuring an elevated and seamless dining experience. Uphold the restaurant's standards for cleanliness and organization in all service areas.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a barista role, preferably in a high-end or fine dining environment. Strong knowledge of coffee and tea preparation, with a commitment to quality and precision. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. Flexible and team-oriented, with a willingness to assist in various roles as needed. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 45 per week
