Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and a strong knowledge of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and beers. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests while ensuring that all drinks are prepared to the highest standards. Your role will also involve maintaining cleanliness and organization at the bar area.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons and ensuring their needs are met promptly. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing orders and handling cash transactions accurately. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure stock availability. Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to maintain high service standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a bartending or food service role is preferred. Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage trends in the restaurant industry. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.

Pay: $17.20 per hour
