Your Role and Responsibilities
Day to Day Responsibilities You will take responsibility for the technical understanding of the customer requirements. You will work with our clients on planning, designing, implementing, testing, analyzing and supporting platforms and solutions in the mobile domain. More specifically, you will:

• Perform site assessments of existing infrastructures/solutions and document as required;
• Review deliverables and documents to ensure compliance with company, client and industry standards;
• Support the delivery of the solution/completion of the project, to the customer as planned
• Analyze information using various methods and tools to expose patterns in data.
• Detect and analyze data abnormalities, unexpected trends, escalate any concerns to key stakeholders, and resolve issues as they relate to mobile networking.
• Perform ongoing monitoring of service for continuous improvements.
• Assist in troubleshooting of networking and connectivity issues.
• Design and development of automation strategies for testing, deployment, configuration and business as usual processes
• Confidently work independently and proactively identify gaps and provide solutions to ustomers
• Drive discussions with customers towards the best solutions
• Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship
• Provide timely and actionable feedback as a part of the peer performance review process
• Assist recruitment by participating in the interview process as a technical interviewer when required and/or providing feedback on job descriptions to the People & Culture team
• Contribute to the Knowledge Base by creating, editing and sharing documents and materials about projects, best practices and/or relevant technology as discussed/determined with the VP Delivery and Operations
• Participate in strategy and ideation sessions related to mobility services and dev-ops specific initiatives;
• Participate in industry events as a subject matter expert or in a professional development capacity to keep abreast of industry trends and best practices.
• This position will primarily be remote; however, you may be required to come on-site occasionally to our downtown Toronto location and/or to customer sites within the GTA.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 8 + years experience in the telecommunications industry
• Experienced with 4G/LTE/5G mobile communication and components;
• Experienced with knowledge about online/offline charging;
• Experienced and very comfortable working on UNIX/Linux operating systems;
• Shell/Bash scripting;
• Snoop traces/packet captures and the ability to read them as well (Wireshark);
• Working knowledge regarding SQL/Databases;
• Working knowledge about IP addressing, subnets, VLANs, IP networking;
• Working knowledge about Routers, Switches, Layer2/Layer3;
• Familiar with scripting languages and automation tooling (shell scripting, ansible etc.);
• Some experience using DevOps tooling/concepts (CI/CD, config mgmt, automation etc.);
• Working knowledge about alarming and SNMP;
• Completely fluent in English language both written and verbal at a professional level (this is a client facing role); a
• Bachelor or Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent experience.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with IMS components, protocols and call flows
• Experience with Diameter as used in LTE/IMS;
• Experience with VoLTE;
• Exposure to working with Iaas (OpenStack or public cloud - AWS, GCP);
• Basic understanding of containers (Docker) and container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
