Our team has an immediate permanent opening for a Senior Technical Expert.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct advanced research and engineering in distributed multi-sensor fusion perception to address real-world perception challenges of localization, tracking, sensor fusion, multimodal sensing (wireless, visual, acoustic, optics \xe2\x80\xa6), and human-computer interaction for different HarmonyOS/OpenHarmony application areas
• Integrate novel and well-established techniques such as deep neural networks, decision trees, Kalman and particle filters, or signal processing on IMU, camera, laser, radar, and ultrasound data
• Bring groundbreaking perception technologies from the lab to a critical system, and ensure that they meet business requirements
• Actively scout for emerging technologies and predict market trends by monitoring tech news, events, and seminars
• Provide expert opinions on relevant technology areas to facilitate strategic planning, R&D roadmap development, and business investment
• Summarize research findings in high-quality papers and patent submissions
• Mentor and lead junior and experienced engineers and researchers, and collaborate closely with other experts on the team, including the planning and systems engineering team

• Professional background in computer and software engineering, human factors, mathematics, artificial intelligence, or communication
• Experience working with hardware systems, including RGBD cameras, depth sensors, IMU, LIDAR, event cameras, acoustic, etc
• Deep understanding of multi-sensor fusion perception technologies (multisensor fusion perception, machine learning, wireless awareness, etc.) in the industry
• Experience working with most smart devices including phones, pad, pc and watch
• Experience in OS framework architecture, design, and development
• Experience in product development in the areas mentioned above for consumer/enterprise markets
• Experience in leading R&D projects & teams with strong leadership skills and excellent teamwork skills
