The Role: Senior Strategy Analyst We are looking for a Senior Strategy Analyst who will enable the curation, analysis, and implementation of Vancity\xe2\x80\x99s strategy and annual business plan, to achieve key priorities and build competitive advantages for our organization. The Senior Strategy Analyst will work cross functionally to provide regular enterprise level reporting on progress against the business plan to stakeholder groups including the Executive Leadership Team and the Board of Directors. The Senior Strategy Analyst will synthesize insights gathered from conducting research to identify opportunities for investment or divestment across the organization. • Participate and enable the seamless development and execution of the enterprise strategy and annual business plan.
• Work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholder groups to gain insights, understand pain points, and uncover opportunities for Vancity.
• Provide enterprise level updates on progress against the business plan in written reports or power point presentations to the senior leaders and board of directors on a regular basis.
• Curate and synthesize complex data sets drawing out the \xe2\x80\x98so what\xe2\x80\x99, gather insights from conducting primary/secondary research on events, industry news, market trends, innovative trends, and technologies - particularly where there is opportunity and an intersection for exploration with Vancity\xe2\x80\x99s business.

• Curious & innovative: You enjoy staying up to date on industry trends, exploring insights behind major headlines, and are future focused.
• Results-oriented: You are a self-starter and resourceful in overcoming obstacles. You have a demonstrated ability to uncover insights, generate appropriate solutions, and advance your deliverables on time, on budget, with attention to quality of outcomes.

You have:

• A bachelor\'s degree or comparable designation (Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, etc.) with strong academic results.
• High proficiency with Microsoft suite of products (PowerPoint, Excel, word, etc)
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, you have experience producing large documents and reports in an easy to digest, concise, visually appealing, and informative manner.
• Many years of work experience as a thought leader. You bring passion and curiosity to your work.

• Experience in areas of strategy, innovation, management consulting, research, financial analysis or equivalent.
• A strong track record of delivering outstanding results in your work including research and data analysis, sharing clear insights with senior stakeholder groups.
• A natural ability to build and maintain effective partnerships internally and externally with all stakeholders, including senior leaders.

Bonus points if you have:

• MBA, CPA, or comparable graduate degree
• Interest or exposure to venture capital markets and technology (i.e., AI, open banking, FinTech, digital assets such as crypto, blockchain, web3, decentralized finance, etc.)

The team: In this role, you will report into Manager Strategic Planning. Hybrid Role: This competitively rewarded role will enjoy hybrid working arrangements which can be fulfilled primarily from the Vancity head office location and your B.C. based home office. Periodically, in-person events or activities will be required of you. Pay Band: 8 Salary Range: $81,200-$122,000 We offer:
