What you can expect in a typical day

This Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for coordinating with various groups within the business to produce accurate internal reporting of the impact of Energy Transition Projects on various Environmental Compliance Programs.

The role will also operate within a hybrid work model, which will offer you the ability work from home a portion of your week and then make use of in-person office days to collaborate and build strong professional relationships; all within a beautiful modern office environment.

Your Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare regular Forecasts & Scenario Modelling for Senior Leadership & Energy Transition Program Teams.
• Provide timely support for Inventory Accounting by ensuring actual compliance volumes are received efficiently.
• Provide timely support for Financial Planning & Analysis teams by advising of required changes.
• Assist in the development of mapping & documentation activities required to establish various process structures.
• Assist in managing relationships with business stakeholders.
• Ad-hoc reporting as required.

Travel:

• No travel required.

Education and experience:

• Post- secondary education in Finance or Accounting
• 5+ years of relevant experience with strong focus on reporting & analytics
• Good understanding & experience with Excel functionality including Formulas, PIVOTs, etc.
• Achievement of or enrollment in Professional Accounting Designation is considered an asset.
• Knowledge & experience with Environmental Compliance Regulations (specifically Canadian Fuel Regulation) considered an asset.
