Position Overview




We are currently seeking a Senior Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team on an immediate hire basis. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for food, a sharp eye for detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards in culinary execution, food safety, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities



Collaborate with the Head Chef to create innovative, seasonal, and on-brand menu items. Oversee daily kitchen operations and maintain consistency in food preparation and quality. Lead, train, and schedule kitchen staff, ensuring a collaborative and high-performing team culture. Conduct regular quality checks and ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are strictly followed. Monitor and manage kitchen inventory, order supplies, and control food costs. Utilize procurement systems (e.g., Marketman) to input and manage inventory data accurately. Support HR-related matters in coordination with the Human Resources department. Implement procedures to minimize waste and maximize kitchen efficiency. Act as a guest-first ambassador, resolving any issues promptly and professionally. Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless kitchen-to-table execution. Stay current with culinary trends and actively contribute to ongoing menu innovation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment through regular inspections and adherence to health and safety standards. Perform any other duties related to the role as assigned by the Head Chef or management.

Qualifications



3+ years of experience in a leadership culinary role, preferably in upscale or high-volume dining. Strong culinary skills with expertise in diverse cooking techniques and plating standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Thorough knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Experience using kitchen management systems (e.g., Marketman) is an asset. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining precision and quality. A genuine passion for food, creativity, and guest satisfaction.
