POSITION SUMMARY:

If you are a highly motivated recruiter, passionate about finding talent through multiple channels then this role may be for you. Leveraging their exceptional problem solving and detective skills the Senior Recruiter will focus on the candidate experience and assist Saint Elizabeth in providing the highest level of patient and family centered care by identifying, sourcing, recruiting and onboarding top talent for our Corporate Head office and front line leadership roles.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to create a partnership in the development and implementation of proactive recruitment initiatives.

Work closely with management to forecast and proactively identify current and upcoming staffing needs.

Determine most appropriate and cost effective mediums/posting boards, job fairs, educational institutions, associations, etc. for advertising opportunities

Constantly strive to create new sourcing channels

Prepare and post job postings/advertisements

Develop and maintain a list of resources, contacts and build relationships with recruitment vendors for sourcing qualified candidates

Prescreen employment applications to determine if qualifications match position requirements

Provide hiring managers with a full summary and recommendation on presented candidates

Coordinate face to face interviews for short listed candidates with hiring managers

Conduct reference and other background checks on selected candidates and review results with hiring managers

Maintain communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process including presenting the job offer and employment agreement

Participate or take the lead in recruitment projects and/or process improvement initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS:

Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources Management and/or CHRP required

Minimum 5 years' recruiting experience in a large or medium sized organization, focusing on positions at the supervisory level and above

Minimum 5 years' experience using Social media, innovative resources and online tools experience for sourcing candidates

Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain consultative relationships with clients and suppliers

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook

Experience using an applicant tracking system (Taleo preferred)

Ability to prioritize job responsibilities and manage high volumes of information effectively

Demonstrated ability to use innovative resources and on line tools for sourcing passive candidates (e.g. social media)

Proven ability to take initiative, look beyond current role openings, and identify a pipeline of talent through networking

Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

Availability to work flexible hours to meet recruitment needs is required

Some travel to job fairs may be required

Work location can be flexible in Ontario this position will be a hybrid model
