Overview Reporting to the Vice President, Valuations and Analysis, the Senior Real Estate Financing Specialist is responsible for professionally completing all property financing related activities for Centurion Asset Management Inc. and its group of companies.

Responsibilities Relationship Development Develop and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure that a high level of client satisfaction is achieved through consistent attention to Centurion\'s Vision, Mission and Values.
Ongoing Operations Oversee all funding deliverables, facilitating closing documents and informing both internal as well as external parties of progress status. Keep track of all mortgage liabilities and line of credits as they pertain to Centurion Apartment REIT, ensuring that all documentation for the loans are accurate and filed appropriately. Oversee all financings, refinancings and mortgage assumptions, keeping track of critical dates and updating the Vice President of Valuations and Analysis accordingly. Work closely with the Vice President of Valuations and Analysis as well as Centurion\'s licensed mortgage broker to gather and review quotes from lenders and assist with the negotiation process as it relates to finalizing commitment letters. Work closely with the Analyst team to ensure mortgage assumptions or new mortgages are successfully placed. Complete annual mortgage reviews, working closely with other departments to collect the financials, operating data, rent roll and other pertinent information to ensure that Centurion is in good standing. Prepare and maintain financial models, ensuring that all discrepancies and potential risks are brought to the immediate attention of the Vice President of Valuations and Analysis. Complete other ad hoc tasks as required.
Requirements

• 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 of direct experience in mortgage lending and/or financing;
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in finance, accounting or a related field;
• CFA designation considered an asset;
• Familiarity with CMHC loan insurance processes considered an asset;
• Knowledge of multi-family residential products considered an asset;
• Self-starter; highly motivated and able to take the initiative required to achieve goals and objectives;
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and a strong ability to multi-task; and
• Excellent command of MS Office products: Word, Power Point, Excel.
