The Real Estate Financing group has shown strong growth in recent years and is expanding across Canada.a, With this in mind, the group is seeking the services of a Senior Real Estate Sector Analyst in Vancouver or Calgary.

The Real Estate Financing group's mission is to support the biggest players in the real estate industry in both their interim construction financing projects and the long-term financing of high-quality assets.

Your role:

• Conduct credit analyses of maturing loans, according to the standards established by the Credit department, and make recommendations
• Structure credit applications (boardsheet structuring) in cooperation with the Account Manager Multi-Unita, in order to mitigate risks and develop financing scenarios that meet client needs and match the Bank's risk criteria
• Plan and monitor upcoming renewals by proactively obtaining the required information within the timelines set by the Bank
• Obtain feedback from Account Managers Multi-unit on draft credit applications, amend them as necessary to ensure they meet the BankaAEURA(TM)s requirements in terms of profitability, quality of presentation and risk analysis
• Negotiate financing terms and conditions with the Credit department in partnership with Account Managers Multi-Unit
• Proactively work with Account Managers Multi-Unit,a, Account Representatives and partners to identify cross-selling opportunities
• Actively participate in various internal projects to continuously improve processes

• BacheloraAEURA(TM)s degree in a related field and foura, years of relevant experience OR masteraAEURA(TM)s degree in a related field and twoa, years of relevant experience OR university certificate and sevena, years of relevant experience
• Negotiation experience
• Experience in real estate credit, an asset
• Experience analyzing financial statements
• Knowledge of banking products, systems and services, an asset
• Bilingualism (spoken/written) French and English essential because you will be dealing with clients and partners speaking only French or only English

**Note that the successful candidate may work out of Vancouver or Calgary depending on where they reside.
