We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Property Manager to join our team--someone who brings both the expertise and passion to excel in the commercial real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities



Property Maintenance and Construction



Oversee routine and preventive maintenance programs. Oversee construction projects Conduct regular property inspections to ensure high operational and aesthetic standards. Manage repairs, contractors, and service providers effectively. Manage and train property management, maintenance and construction staff

Financial Management



Develop and manage annual operating budgets. Oversee rent collection, invoice processing, and expense tracking. Monitor property performance to ensure financial objectives are met. Prepare and present financial and operational reports for ownership.

Tenant Relations



Act as the primary point of contact for tenants. Address tenant concerns and service requests promptly. Foster strong tenant relationships to promote satisfaction and retention.

Owner Relations



Communicate regularly with property owners. Provide updates on property performance, budgets, and key initiatives. Respond to owner inquiries and ensure alignment with ownership objectives.

Legal Compliance



Ensure all properties comply with municipal, provincial, and federal regulations. Maintain a thorough understanding of landlord-tenant laws and industry standards.

Marketing and Leasing Support



Collaborate with the leasing team to maximize occupancy and rental income. Support marketing initiatives and participate in lease negotiations as required.

Qualifications and Experience



6-10 years of progressive, hands-on experience in commercial property management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; familiarity with Yardi Voyager and Angus is an asset. Strong customer service orientation and commitment to tenant satisfaction. Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills. Strong financial acumen with demonstrated budgeting and analytical capabilities. In-depth knowledge of real estate operations, market trends, and applicable legislation. Experience with property maintenance, operations, and leasing. Working knowledge of commercial construction fundamentals.

Education and Designations



Post-secondary education in business, real estate, or a related field preferred. A professional property management designation, such as RPA (Real Property Administrator) or CPM (Certified Property Manager) is considered an asset.
Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $125,000.00 per year
