Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee our property management operations. We focus on Co-operative housing and Non-Profit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, customer service, and administrative functions. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to managing properties and tenant relationships.

Responsibilities



Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and meet company standards. Develop and implement property management strategies to enhance tenant/member satisfaction and retention. Oversee leasing processes, including marketing available units, conducting showings, and negotiating lease agreements. Maintain accurate records of property activities, including data entry, filing, and customer relationship management. Foster positive relationships with tenants through excellent customer service and effective communication. Conduct regular property inspections to assess condition and compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with onsite administrators to streamline administrative processes and improve operational efficiency. Provide training and support to junior staff members in property management best practices.

Experience



Proven experience in property management in Co-op or non profit sector or a related field is essential. Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software is highly desirable. Strong office experience with a focus on administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping. Demonstrated sales skills with the ability to effectively market properties and negotiate lease terms. Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to building strong tenant relationships. Strong negotiation skills to handle lease agreements and vendor contracts effectively. Familiarity with CMMS for maintenance tracking is a plus. Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills are required for interacting with tenants and vendors. Pay: $52,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
