The Retail Excellence & Rewards Team, supporting the success of TELUS Retail Limited (TRL), is looking for a motivated individual with a fresh perspective to join our team. We are a team of high performers, passionate about evolving the future of our workforce. We work hard and we play hard.

You will lead the development of a new operating model that will drive productivity for TRL and allow team members flexibility of working outside our bricks and mortar stores.

Responsibilities

As an integral contributor to the Retail Excellence & Rewards team, you will:

  • Create a vision for the future of flexible workstyles; including but not limited to labour mobility, OBDF, RRS & EPP Strikers
  • Lead a core team with stakeholders across our channel enablement teams to build the enablement model for flexible workstyles
  • Create executive-level presentations to gain buy-in from senior leaders
  • Proactively manage and escalate risks, issues and updates at senior level
  • Solve complex challenges with creative solutions that clear roadblocks, secure business collaboration and mitigate risks
Qualifications

  • Exceptionally organized: Proven ability to deliver highly visible projects, meet deadlines and ensure outcomes
  • Influential leader: Use strong relationships and mastered negotiation to gain commitment from stakeholders. Talent for encouraging and supporting others by being strong, focused, and a good example to those you want to influence
  • Strong analytical skills: Naturally curious problem solver with determination to overcome obstacles, manage risks and identify challenges and conflicting or complementary opportunities
  • Action-oriented: Motivated to drive change with a positive attitude and adaptability. Hold others accountable to the commitments and you follow through on your own
  • Strong presenter: Poised, focused and confident in communicating with all levels of management. Great storyteller that connects learning points important to the audience with clarity and expertly crafted decks
  • Knowledge of TRL is an asset
Required Professional Designation/Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics, Information Technology Management, or relatable degree / equivalent experience
  • MBA is an asset
Required Experience:
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience, including program management and/or transformational project management
  • Telecommunications industry experience a definite advantage
