Senior Program Manager (Environmental Services) You will interface with clients and staff to setup, manage and report on environmental services related to upstream activities and regulatory requirements. Commercial, midstream, downstream, and electric/power experience is not essential, but beneficial. Reporting to the Team Lead of Assessment and Remediation, the Senior Program Manager will build and maintain positive client relationships focused on providing top quality service in a variety of environmental programs. The Senior Program Manager will also support the Team Lead with mentoring and growth of the team. You will bring more than 10+ years of relevant environmental consulting experience in the upstream Oil and Gas sector, located in Calgary, AB. You must have a Technical Diploma or University Degree in environmental science or related discipline. In addition, you must possess or be eligible for professional designation (P.Geol., P.Eng., P.Biol., P.Ag., P.Chem.). This is a permanent position based out of Calgary, AB. What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:
  • Overall management of multi-location office staff, consulting staff and client environmental portfolios.
  • Providing mentorship and technical guidance for assessment and remediation programs including Phase 1 ESAs, Phase 2 ESAs, In-Situ and Ex-Situ Remediation, soil and groundwater treatment, soil and groundwater monitoring and risk assessment and management.
  • Communication and liaison with other Regional Offices to ensure open communication and environmental service line efficiencies.
  • Workload forecasting and staffing.
  • Implementing corporate and client safety programs.
  • Ensure that project requirements are met in a timely and effective manner.

  • Proactive approach to problem solving with a strong ability to take initiative.
  • Must have strong ability to influence and communicate.
  • Proven ability to build relationships across various organizations.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Experience preparing and submitting Alberta Energy Regulator OneStop entries.
