What You\'ll Bring:

  • Bachelor\'s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years relevant product management experience.
  • Experience working in agile product methodology.
  • Key understanding of Canadian credit ecosystem.

Impact You\'ll Make:

Reporting to the Senior Manager: Credit Solutions, the Senior Product Manager will be supporting the Core Credit suite. This team builds solutions based on consumer and commercial credit to help customers (Banks, Auto/Mortgage/Credit lenders, Insurance Companies, Government, and Retailers) make better informed business decisions \xe2\x80\x93 such as credit, collections and marketing - using TransUnion data.

Product Management works across internal and external stakeholders to drive thought leadership and innovation in the marketplace for new solutions and maintaining existing solutions. This role is focused on innovating solutions for the future of credit \xe2\x80\x93 think buy now pay later, open banking, and new ways of establishing credit worthiness. This position is accountable for managing the product strategy, the end to end lifecycle of the solutions for which he or she is accountable, being the subject matter expert for those solutions, meeting assigned product revenue targets.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing and executing on the product lifecycle roadmap for your assigned product portfolio - analyzing market trends and client feedback \xe2\x80\x93 and incorporating input from such stakeholders as Sales, Market Development, Strategy and Planning, Consulting, Technology.
  • Working with international product teams (Centers of Excellence) to lift and shift and localize internationally developed products, as well as providing local insights to inform international product ideation, creating alignment between local and international stakeholders.
  • Conducting market research and sizing, competitive intelligence and industry analysis to feed into strategic planning and product roadmap build-out, including interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leveraging agile framework to provide strategic direction to new product development.
  • Determine profitability, pricing, product life cycle, distribution channels, positioning, and promotion strategy for product portfolio, supported by robust base development.
  • Ensure the development through other stakeholders and signoff of go-to-market plans and tools (e.g., training, sales tool kit materials, product collateral, training, ROI models, etc.) that accelerate the sales cycle and articulate compelling value propositions.
  • Leading efforts to obtain client references to develop whitepapers, client success stories and client win/loss analysis to support product/solution launch efforts.
  • 80% internally focused working with stakeholders and 20% external facing role validating use cases and market demand for new solutions to solve market business issues.
