Position Summary:
The Senior Office Administrator is the glue that holds all of our support services together, enabling our operations teams to deliver exceptional service to our clients. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the General Manager, Operations Manager, and Sales & Marketing Manager to ensure Qualimet's ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily office operations and manage administrative staff
Develop and implement office procedures and policies
Manage office supplies and equipment
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Support executive teams with scheduling and administrative tasks
Act as the primary bank contact
Administer employee payroll, benefits, and Group Savings Registered Plan
Required Qualifications:
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptable to ERP systems
Excellent communication, tasking, and organizational skills
English language competency at CEFR Level C1 or higher preferred
Minimum 10 years' progressive experience in office administration, with a proven track record of building strong administrative and accounting teams
Demonstrated administration and supervision experience
Diploma or degree in Administration or Accounting, or equivalent certification
At least 3 years' experience with Human Resources administration
Strong understanding of GAAP accounting practices, applicable laws, and software
Familiarity with Alberta Labour Standards and Human Rights legislation
