The opportunity:

Reporting to the Manager- IT infrastructure, the Senior Network Administrator will provide design, engineering and integration planning of RCL\xe2\x80\x99s IT Strategy to satisfy RCL\'s business requirements, balancing capacity, & quality in order to integrate the technology utilized in the network (Cloud, WAN, LAN, VOIP) and to provide the ultimate design of services and products in the network.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for creation and evergreening of the network architecture and implementation;
• Analyze and monitor network performance (availability, capacity, performance), provide network support and resolve connectivity issues;
• Read and understand auditing logs and traffic analysis tools to determine the necessary corrective actions;
• Recommend hardware and software upgrades, performance improvements for business users based on network monitoring;
• Perform configuration changes that may impact daily operations and escalate major issues that require approval;
• Configure hardware and software to optimize network communication, maintain LAN, WAN, VOIP networks;
• Manage IP addresses, IP scheme, architecture;
• Create and maintain documentation of network configurations, cabling layout, roadmap for switches, routers, etc.;
• Respond to emergency situations and outages in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• College Degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
• 8-10 years of experience in networking;
• Results oriented geared towards high quality delivery;
• Proactive, Innovative and critical thinker;
• Effective communicator and collaborator;
• French (spoken and written) is required;
• Working knowledge of routing, switching;
• Working tools: Extreme networks/Aerohive, Core network HPE, Cisco Meraki Access Points, HPE IMC, WUG, IPmonitor, F5 Load balancers, WireShark.
