Job Description

The Academy for Mathematics & English tutors students from SK to Grade 12 for Math, Grade K to Grade 9 for English, and Grades 11 & 12 for Physics and Chemistry. We are currently recruiting Enthusiastic & Knowledgeable candidates at our Windsor location to be our senior tutors for high school Math, Physics and Chemistry.

Must be able to tutor the following subject areas: Geometry, Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus & Vectors/ Advanced Functions and/ or Chemistry and Physics. Sessions are held in the afternoon, evenings and/or weekends. Tutors work with the same students on a daily/weekly basis. Tutors are not required to prepare lesson plans, and the teaching curriculum is provided. This is a casual part-time position.
Requirements:

Candidates must have a degree in the related field or currently studying in them. Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English. A minimum of 1-year tutoring experience is preferred. Candidates must be available Monday to Friday from 3:30pm. to 8:30pm. and Saturday from 10:00am. To 4:00pm. (Minimum of 3 days per week. Candidates must be able to start immediately.

Pay: $17.50-$20.00 per hour
