Job Overview
We are seeking a High School Math Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in educating and supporting students in improving math and numeracy capabilities.
This role is a private in-person tutoring role. Must be able to travel to the homes of students in Toronto to provide tutoring in the M5M postal code (Avenue Rd. & Wilson Ave.) to start. Also, tutoring in the following postal codes if you wish to take on more students: M6A, M6B, M6E, M6H, M6L
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students for math.
- Educate and assist students with homework assignments and test preparation
- Create personalized learning plans to meet the individual needs of each student
- Write progress reports to track student development
Qualifications
Nice to have: Experience working with children in educational settings
Nice to have: Experience in a tutoring or teaching role
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students and parents Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
