As a Sr Market Research Analyst you will develop a deep understanding of our business and market trends as well as provide high-level industry intelligence to help company executives to make data informed decisions on launching new products and services and on proving or adjusting the strategy of the company.

Performing competitive analysis and opinion leaders & community feedback reviews, you will help our existing game teams to have a better understanding of game genres trends in order to optimize the performance of their games.

The role requires superior modeling skills as well as strategic and analytical thinking, business development, collaboration, communication, and multi-tasking skills.

We are looking for a critical thinker with a passion for research. This individual will be asked to process, synthesize complex information effectively and communicate in a concise manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Construct financial/analytical models in support of various strategic opportunities, potential acquisitions and portfolio management
  • Execute extensive competitor analyses including detailed competitor mapping and profiling
  • Carry out quantitative and qualitative market analyses such as market outlooks, total addressable market forecasting, etc.
  • Discover and monitor market reports and any data insights provided by open sources and market insiders
  • Produce a range of regular and ad-hoc actionable insights on market trends to support decisions around our products roadmap
  • Be an expert in the latest trends impacting video games, and share insights across the organization
  • Build relations and be a great partner with research and consulting firms for reports, analysis, and data acquisition
  • Develop data collection tools and techniques
  • Use data modeling tools to forecast projects\' KPIs hypothesis for new and existing titles, considering various in-game and marketing investment
Qualifications
  • Master\'s degree (MA/MBA) preferred - Marketing, Marketing Research, Statistics, or Econometrics.
  • 5+ years Market Research experience.
  • Must have at least 3 years video game experience.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills required
  • Strong interest in video games industry and cultural entertainment in general
  • Excellent critical thinking, questioning, and listening skills with superior attention to detail are necessary
  • Must be able to create impactful, story driven, & visually pleasing deliverables.
  • Passionate about connecting the dots and using data to tell a story
  • Advanced Excel skills, able to build complex models and analysis
  • Experience with data sciences (programming languages, database queries, and data mining) a plus.
